Now I am making plans for the garage sale and selling things on Craigslist and Dayton Daily News.
Breeanna has tired of pulling the guinea pigs around on her toy truck and is practicing the recorder to Bryan's dismay as she is playing it too loudly.
Breeanna is dressed in her beautiful primcess gown and said to me, "Stepmother, I've done my chores, may I go to the ball?"
Bryan asked if it was his adhd that causes him to get bored with things so quickly. I said that it does pose a greater struggle for him, but I know with practice, he could work through things. I was washing the dishes, so I told him there wasn't much excitement in washing the dishes but we need clean dishes to cook with and to eat from.
I told him washing the dishes was a service and contribution to our family so it gets done and I'm happy to do it.
After Bryan was picked up by Chris I discovered the dogs were outside when earlier Bryan assured me that he had taken them in.
I was furious that Bryan had lied. It's just not something I would ever tolerate. His punishment was swift and severe...no tv, no video games, no afterschool activities.
