Our February has been so nice. We celebrated Jayden and Grant's birthday and visited with Duane who was had relocated to Arizona this year. Duane brought Bryan and Breeanna homemade brownies all the way from Arizona. He is the best uncle ever! We celebrated Valentine's Day by coming up with different versions of "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue..." I tried to make my poems very silly to get Bryan to laugh. On President's Day Bryan got to be president and he got to decide what we would have for dinner. He chose cookies of course and was trying to get me to celebrate president's day again on George Washington's birthday so that we could have cookies for dinner again! I didn't agree to that one.
Breeanna is learning how to drink from a cup and pick up cereal using her pincher grasp. She is standing well and can walk four steps. She loves to turn the TV on and off. She's getting quick at crawling around the house. Where before she willingly offered up tidbits of crumbs and other choking hazards that she finds on the floor, she now clings to her prize and cries in protest when I take it away from her.
Our family discovered Golden Corral Buffet. They have take out for $3.99 a pound. We usually get chicken liver and onions. Kids are $1.99 on Tuesdays after 4pm.
Bryan is taking science at the Boonshoft Museum. He did basketball at St. Helen's this year. Bryan looooves basketball. We can hardly wait till basketball season again next year. Thank God there is basketball in the winter. Bryan is doing level III swimming at the Lohrey Center and martial arts at Ground Zero Martial Arts in Vandalia. Bryan also got to go sledding this year on a hill behind Chick Fil-A in Beavercreek.
I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled and was in bed for 2 days to recover. My exercise routine consists of 25 pushups, 25 crunches, 100 jumping jacks and 100 squats, lifting weights and stretching. These are done throughout the day at 5 minute intervals because that's about how long Breeanna will tolerate me out of her eye sight doing something other than playing with her.
Chris has been going to the gym twice a day on most days, during lunch time and after work. He's been taking Bryan to most of his outings. He's been such a big help caring for the kids so that I can have housecleaning time.

Grant and Jayden's Birthday
Here is Sarah and Hadley Siem.
And the beautiful Erica Mahle.
Bryan had basketball at St. Helen's then swimming at the Lohrey Center. Afterwards Chris took the kids to Tech Fest at Sinclair Community College. I stayed home and relished in housecleaning time.
Then we were off to Jayden's and Grant's birthday party. On the drive over we quized Chris on what Bryan had learned in Science this week...like what seed do we eat (peanut, walnut), what stem do we eat (celery), what root do we eat (potatoes, carrots), what flower do we eat...and we thought we had him on this one but he got the answer (brocoli). It seems as if every time we drive out to Erica's house (she lives in Cedarville) Chris always find a point in the conversation to say, "It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here. There nothing to do except for watching the corn grow."
Bryan was soooo excited about going to a party. He gets to play with the kids and eat food and drink soda. Hey, it doesn't get any better.
